Nitrite-free, uncured, minimally salted, smoked bacon. *Our bacon is VERY MINIMALLY salted, so you may choose to season to your taste. Because it is uncured, it will not have the bright pink color that cured bacon has.
Our Heritage Breed Pastured Pork is raised 100% out on pasture in Hotchkiss, CO by our friend, Toby. These inquisitive pigs thrive on lush, riverside pastures, rooting, roaming and playing amongst the nutrient-rich cottonwood forest and abundant fields on Toby's land. Fescue, clover, alfalfa, dandelion, chicory, rye and wheatgrass are abundant in the pastures.
They are supplemented with non-GMO swine feed and special treats (like organic apples from a neighboring farm) when available.
