Recipe: Lamb Burgers
I’m a little embarrassed to admit this: I, like many of you, used to think that I didn’t like lamb. I was never a fan of the "lamb" that appeared on our holiday table lurking beneath an undulating glob of mint jelly (don’t tell my mom I said that).
All it took for me to fall in love with lamb once and for all was a taste of these Lamb Burgers. If you’re tentative about lamb, I guarantee you’ll love these!
1 pound Kristin’s Farm Stand Ground Lamb
1 Tbs whole grain mustard
1 sprig fresh rosemary (chopped finely)
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Mix together and form into patties. Throw onto a hot grill and DO NOT OVERCOOK. Remove when patties reach approximately 120-degrees, then let rest under a foil tent for a few minutes.
